A basic introduction to Literary Theory

This slide show is a basic introduction to some of the theoretical thinking that gives differing angles from which to view and analyse literary texts. For example: A liberal humanist perspective says that we should not look at the text from any angle, but we should just look into the text itself to find its meanings.
