Working in groups, this fun PowerPoint takes the students through an understanding of the different types of tax payers, what they pay and the difficult decisions that the problem solvers have to make, and the consequences that could occur due to their choices.

They not only take the roles of tax payers, but politicians as well. They have to think like politicians and decide how much of the revenue from tax will be spent on eight different areas within society and like all politicians, they have to justify their reasons at the end.
